  • Overview

    TURNER, a national boutique PR and digital communications firm, is searching for an extremely organized, tech-administrative assistant to oversee day-to-day management of our office of 20+ professionals. Our ideal candidate has stellar organizational skills, incredible attention to detail and starts each day with a positive, contagious attitude. This assistant is also responsible for providing daily administrative, calendar and expense management support for the division’s VP executives.


    • Provides daily administrative support to staff and executives, including but not limited to: hospitality for meetings and visitors, shipping and courier services, copying and scanning, managing subscriptions, purchasing office supplies, running errands, inventory/tracking of incoming and outgoing product, vendor management and event planning, etc.
    • Answers phones and gets to know clients, vendors, staff and teams
    • Manages inbound and outbound product pulls for product team
    • Daily errands for events, supplies and supplies within our storage unit
    • Learns agency’s time tracing and expense report systems and assists with expense reports
    • Maintains community spaces and all inbound management (kitchen, conference room, etc.)
    • Maintains and manages office calendars, including coordination of office social events and celebrations, philanthropic events and community outreach
    • Manages shared documents and folder organization within the network server
    • Books travel and creates itineraries, when needed
    • Serves as point-of-contact between offices, billing and HR, as well as for our building management team


    Our ideal candidate:


    • 1 year of experience in an administrative or office management position
    • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills
    • Has the ability to lift boxes of product for showroom and can comfortably lift product/inventory up-to 50 pounds of occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects
    • Is comfortable working with/collaborating with associates at all levels; has the ability to multi-task and prioritize various activities
    • Has demonstrated the ability to research, evaluate and learn new technologies beyond Microsoft Office basics i.e. excel, Keynote
    • Has familiarity with other evolving programs, such as Google Docs and Dropbox, and can solve challenges with new tools
    • Is an “efficiency expert” and enjoys figuring out how to make processes better, faster and easier
    • Is a great communicator – verbal and written
    • Is familiar with virtual work environments, and can help coordinate a team that works from multiple locations
    • Can multitask, and never miss a deadline
    • Ability to problem-solve and manage operations challenges
